Staying with a host family is a great way to practise your new English language skills as well as experiencing some of the culture and home-life of the people you are staying with. The concept of a “family” is not the same for everyone. Some hosts may be single ladies whose children have grown up and left home, or they could be a couple with a spare room or a bigger family with children and pets. Either way you will have the freedom to come and go as you please, whilst optimising your use of the English language outside the classroom. Bed sheets are included but we recommend you bring your own towels. You may be staying with other international students but you will have your own room (unless you have requested to share a twin room with a friend).
