English language schools in the UK have won a court battle over regulations which say that students coming to the UK to learn English must already have a high level of English. Tony Milns from English UK, which represents 440 English language schools in the UK, saw the absurdity in this and fought to retain the £1.5 billion in foreign earnings that the English language sector contributes to the economy.
