Many of the English language schools that we work with offer an 8, 10 or 12 week Cambridge Exam Preparation course starting in September and designed to lead up to the Exam dates in December. The courses are designed for students who have at least an intermediate level of English and want to work towards the First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). Not all English schools work towards the FCE exam so check with us before you book. If you have a more advanced level you can usually take a shorter course and still work towards the December start date.

The exam dates vary depending on whether you are taking the FCE, CAE or CPE but the dates fall in the week starting 7th December. In all cases the Exam fee is not included in the course price. All exam fees should be paid locally and the price varies depending on which location you have chosen. FCE, CAE and CPE exam fees are approximately EUR €130. Some schools are licensed to provide the exams within the school, whereas others will use the local Cambridge authorised test centre in the town.
