Belfast

Belfast is a surprising city. Step into the past and you’ll see a ship building industry to envy and stone circles over 5000 years old. Step into the future and you’ll see the Big Wheel (Belfast’s version of the London Eye) and Obel Tower. But despite the city’s recent Troubles, you will find plenty to explore in Belfast – Northern Ireland’s capital city. The city has put a great deal of effort into maintaining its gardens, parks and public sculptures. Belfast is also home to The News Letter – the oldest English language newspaper in the world, still in publication today. So all in all it’s a perfect setting in which to practise your new found English language skills.

Belfast School

The Belfast English school is located in University Street, which, as the name suggests, is in the heart of the city's university district with Belfast’s Botanical Gardens a short walk away. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops catering for a large student population and is just a 5 - 10-minute walk from Belfast city centre.
