St Julians
St Julians is located on Malta’s eastern coast, north of the capital of Valetta and as an extension of Sliema, a popular commercial and shopping area. On the north side of St Julians you will find the modern resort of Paceville. Popular with clubbers and shoppers alike, there is plenty to do in this lively area and here you can find banks, shops, hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs to suit all tastes. Walking along the promenade between Paceville and Sliema is a lovely way to spend the afternoon. The coastline is rocky but there are a few outcrops of sand for the die-hard sun-worshippers. Better beaches can be found just a few kilometres away.
