London School - Executive Centre - Business English

This course is dedicated to helping you communicate more confidently in meetings, negotiations and social situations. Using a variety of effective learning techniques you develop your abilities to liaise with customers and business partners in English. You also develop your awareness of cross-cultural issues, important for working with suppliers and partners of different nationalities.
Mornings focus on business language required for meetings, negotiations and presentations. Afternoons focus on business vocabulary, business writing, telephoning, social English, current affairs and skills development.

Your Business English course will vary depending on the school you choose, but the charactaristics of the business or executive English courses follow the same idea. They are designed to help business people, executives and professionals to expand and improve their English within the business world.

The course will cover a wide range of Business English topics and will usually include: presentation skills, communication skills, letter/email writing and telephone manner to building on your business language and vocabulary, cross-cultural awareness and liaison with international business partners, meetings, negotiations and social situations. A variety of effective learning techniques are used to develop these skills and some schools include visits to local companies to see how international business is done in the UK, Ireland, Malta or Canada.

Timetable: 09:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday

Public holidays:

2010: Jan 1, April 2 & 5, May 3 & 31, August 30, Dec 17 - Jan 3 2011.

Where a public holiday falls on a Monday, courses will start on the Tuesday instead.
Lessons missed on public holidays cannot be made up.

Accommodation options and pricing:

Executive Host Family
Single room, half board (breakfast & 4 eve meals per week) €320 per week

Executive host families either have rooms with an en-suite bathroom or they have a higher level of comfort and quality for the more mature student or professional.

Please note: Accommodation arrival day is Sunday and departure day is Saturday. Please contact us if you need to book extra nights.
