The Belfast English school is located in University Street, which, as the name suggests, is in the heart of the city's university district with Belfast’s Botanical Gardens a short walk away. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops catering for a large student population and is just a 5 - 10-minute walk from Belfast city centre.

Spread over four floors, the school has twelve spacious classrooms, a study room with computers and free Internet access for students' use, a kitchen and dining area, and a small garden. There is Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the building.

Social Programme:

The school organises a varied programme of social activities for students. These include guided visits and excursions to places of interest in and around Belfast, video films in English, concerts by local musicians, and exchange evenings at which students can meet and talk with other students. They also take students out in the evening twice a month to experience some of Belfast's unforgettable nightlife and to introduce them to the meaning of the local 'craic'.

Most of these activities are included in the course fee. However, please note that entrance fees and transport costs (where appropriate) are not included and students will therefore have to pay for these themselves.

The Social Programme is changed every two weeks so that students staying for longer periods will not have to repeat specific activities. All students are given a copy of the Social Programme planned for the following 2-week period when they arrive. The school also organises full-day excursions to towns and places of interest outside Belfast. These excursions are organised at least twice a month during the summer months and once a month during the rest of the year.

Please note that for these full day excursions outside Belfast a supplement is charged to help pay for the cost of the coach and guide.
